WATER STORIES

FALL 2025 COLLECTION

Raising awareness
on the mercury contamination crisis affecting the waters and communities of Wabaseemoong and Grassy Narrows in Canada.

Water Stories is more than a couture collection; it is a dynamic platform to celebrate culture, language, mentorship, community engagement, and resistance against corporate environmental destruction in Indigenous communities.

Shifting from metallic, inky blacks into an ombre of blues, the collection uses rich Italian fabrics to reflect the transformation of water from contamination to purification. An explosion of vibrant, floral-infused colors, symbolizes the resilience of Indigenous people and Mother Earth.

We collaborated with jewelry designer Jennifer Younger, who infused each ensemble with copper, an element known for its powerful healing properties and cultural significance within Indigenous communities.

Rooted in the global struggle for clean water, the narrative resonates across borders, reflecting a shared human experience and a deep commitment to meaningful change.

Every element of this production was created with love, empathy, humility, forgiveness, and respect—as part of our ongoing call for equal rights and access to clean water, essential for the health of our communities and the well-being of generations to come.
